CfP: Science and Sensibility: Method Meets Art

We would like to invite proposals for our forthcoming event, Science and Sensibility: Method Meets Art (A Transdisciplinary Conference), which will take place on 17-18 October 2026 at St Anne’s College, University of Oxford, UK, and online. The conference welcomes 15-minute presentations of academic papers and/or creative work from scholars of all disciplines, creatives, graduate students, practitioners, and professionals.

The conference is particularly relevant to work that brings scientific inquiry into dialogue with creative practice. Relevant areas include medical and health humanities; literature, poetry, and medicine; arts and health; psychology and creativity; neuroscience and creativity; philosophy of science; science communication; artistic research; environmental humanities and climate art; artificial intelligence and creative practice; bioart; data visualisation; and related interdisciplinary approaches.
