BSHS Research Grant deadline (31 March) approaching!

The next deadline for the BSHS Small Grants Scheme on 31 March is approaching soon! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to gain some additional funding for your research.

The BSHS Research Grants (£50–£500) are designed to help support practical research needs — whether that’s an archival visit, a short research trip, photography or microfilming, temporary research assistance for remote archive access, or additional care costs that make research possible.

The scheme is particularly intended to support early-career researchers, and we warmly encourage applications from members who could benefit from a small amount of funding to move a project forward. Projects with clear, independent research outcomes are especially welcome.

Applications are considered twice a year and decisions are normally made within a month of the deadline. If you’re thinking about applying this round, now is a good time to start preparing your materials.
